Robotics Explorers

Code that moves, senses and lights up the real world.

Kids program virtual and physical robots to sense, decide and act. Using a friendly block-and-code simulator (and an optional starter kit), they learn how sensors, motors and logic combine into machines that do real jobs.

What your child will learn

Real skills, built one confident win at a time

How sensors turn the real world into data a robot can use
Drive motors and servos with precise, repeatable commands
Write if / then logic so a robot decides what to do next
Combine loops and conditions to follow a line or avoid walls
Debug behaviour by observing, guessing and testing
Plan a build, then explain how each part works
The learning path

A clear, 10 weeks journey — unit by unit

Every unit ends with something your child has actually built. Pace is 1-on-1, so no one is ever rushed or held back.

  1. 01

    Robot Anatomy

    WEEKS 1–2

Meet inputs, outputs and the loop that makes a robot "think".

    Inputs / OutputsLoops
  2. 02

    Make It Move

    WEEKS 3–4

Drive motors forward, turn by degrees and trace shapes on the floor.

    MotorsSequencing
  3. 03

    Sensing the World

    WEEKS 5–6

Read light, distance and touch sensors to react to surroundings.

    SensorsData
  4. 04

    Decisions

    WEEKS 7–8

Add if / then logic so the robot avoids walls and follows a line.

    ConditionalsLogic
  5. 05

    Mission Build

    WEEKS 9–10

Design a robot for a real task and demo it on the challenge course.

Real things they'll build

Projects, not just lessons

Kids remember what they make. Each project is a genuine artifact your child keeps, shares and builds on.

🚦Week 2

Traffic Light

Sequence lights with timed loops — the classic first robotics build.

🐢Week 6

Line Follower

A robot that reads the ground and steers itself along a track.

🛡️Week 8

Wall Dodger

Distance-sensing logic that keeps the robot from bumping into things.

🏗️Capstone

Helper Bot

An original robot designed to solve a chosen everyday problem.

🏆 HACKATHONS & CHALLENGES

Robotics Challenge Day

A seasonal build-off where explorers solve a themed mission — maze escape, waste sorting, rescue run — against the clock with mentors on standby. Solutions are judged on creativity, not just speed.

Runs every season
🥇Fastest Mission trophy
💡Best Engineering Idea award
🎖️Persistence badge for every finisher
Tools & tech they'll use

Real, industry-grade tools — made age-appropriate

No toy software that gets thrown away. Your child works with the same core tools professionals use, introduced gently.

Every session is 1-on-1 with a vetted mentor who has shipped real work — not a pre-recorded video. You'll get progress notes after each class.

What they walk away with
  • Five working robot programs in a shareable portfolio
  • Real intuition for sensors, motors and control logic
  • A certificate plus Challenge Day highlights reel
  • A clear on-ramp to Python and Machine Learning

Verified certificate of completion
Shareable proof of every skill your child earns.
Parent questions

Everything you're wondering

No. The full course runs in our online simulator. An optional micro:bit starter kit adds physical builds if you want them, and mentors support both paths.

It is hands-on, but every mission teaches a real concept — sensors, loops, conditionals — that transfers straight into text coding later.

Ages 8–11. Younger builders pair well with our Scratch Game Studio first; older ones can move straight to Python.

Each enrolment is 1-on-1 for the best pace. Ask us about sibling discounts for separate slots.
